Island Hortica - is the biggest river island in the Europe.

Hortica is the piece of Great Zaporozhyen Meadow, the piece of the fairy-tale
land "Gilleya". Khortitsa keeps the burial mounds of mysterious Scythian, the
sanctuaries as the saint places for contact with God, for astronomical
observation.

This is the island of legends and chronicles.
Here there was trading between slavs and greeks in old times.
Here there were big and little sanctuaries, here there was a Priest Oak, which
was 2000 years age.
